This collection is directly inspired from the wild rose, the main pattern of the tiara bought by the King of Italy for the wedding of his son, Prince Humbert of Italy, with Margherita in 1868.

A tribute to Mellerio’s craftsmanship and know-how and to its clients’ femininity, the Monte Rosa collection includes both High Jewellery pieces - the Margherita necklace displaying 44 carats of diamonds needed more than 1’000 hours of work - and Jewellery variations.

The gracefulness and exquisite details of each petal give life to elegant and delicate flowers. Magnificent precious stones have been selected with meticulous care to illuminate the yellow, pink or white gold of each model: white and yellow diamonds, yellow, pink and fuchsia sapphires…

Mellerio welcomes you to the 2012 "Journées du Patrimoine", on September 15th and 16th, 9 rue de la Paix, Paris.
