It all began with a storied romance. Jean-Charles de Castelbajac learned that a bracelet belonging to his grandmother, Marguerite de Castelbajac which had once belonged to Marie Antoinette had returned to the Mellerio collections. A meeting was set on Rue de la Paix. An artistic spark was instantly ignited between Jean-Charles de Castelbajac and Laure-Isabelle Mellerio, two creators shared by a passion for color and history. The House and the artist unite in a shared quest for originality and singularity, driven by a timeless aesthetic and style while placing modernity at the heart of their creations.
Laure-Isabelle Mellerio and Jean-Charles de Castelbajac are forging a new link between their respective lineages. Together, they unveil an artistic interpretation of the Mellerio universe, bringing eight emblematic women into a dialogue centered around Laure-Isabelle Mellerio. This collaboration fully embodies a creative and contemporary vision for Mellerio, one capable of engaging with the most avant-garde artistic expressions.
